Two posts in one day! You MUST be lucky!

Ok, ok, I still have my funk… but that doesn’t mean I can’t get amped! Here is some random stuff to make you smile…
- Karl McKracken is a genius… I’m sure I’m not the first to say it… but hell, I may be the first to blog it. Check this out: He’s selling his carbon credit on ebay.
- Let’s all wish Oanh luck at Wildflower - Ok, I don’t know Oahn, except through what I just learned about her on her blog but she’s a medical student training to compete at Wildflower. And if she thinks I’m inspirational, then she deserves your support too. You go, Oahn!
- Tyler is a lot smarter than I let on - I admit, that I give my buddy Tyler a hard time… and he’s pretty good at giving as good as he gets. In fact, my wife said to me the other day, “Are you and Tyler friends? You guys are always at each other… all the time?!” Ladies… here’s a hint… guys like to give each other a hard time. It’s how we show that we like each other… it’s how we show respect. I can’t explain it, that’s just how it is. If you think you’re my friend and I never give you a hard time… ever… then you probably aren’t my friend. Anyway, more to the point. I lifted with Tyler tonight, and I was feeling pretty pathetic, and of course, Tyler was ALL OVER ME. He called me a wimp, he laughed at me, he made us do heavy weights, he told me I smelled bad… it was great! Oh, and… he had a brilliant idea… if my knees are hurting from my fixie… why don’t I just use the flip/flop wheel and ride single-speed FREE WHEEL for a while till my knee feels better. Duh!
- Did I mention Karl is a genius? - Scratch that…. watch this video and decide for yourself. Hey Karl? Do you feel like my friend now?
Ahhh… tomorrow will be a better day. ![]()

Brad, you’re a true friend. There are some adverts that ran in the UK a few months back for a credit card. The premise of it was that every time someone does something smart (like, sign up for the credit card), somewhere else in the world, someone does something really dumb to restore the balance. And i guess real life’s pretty much like that. Selling carbon on Ebay may well be the smartest off the wall idea I’ve ever had, but at least I balance it by running into obvious obstacles during training sessions!
